Do we have to have a home inspection to refinance our mortgage in MO?
anonymous asked:
We’re hoping to refinance as fast as possible and would rather skip the inspection, since we had one when we bought the house two years ago… and we’d rather not have to pay for another. Can we skip it or will most companies require it?
Someone mentioned that an appraisal, but not an inspection is necessary–I’m sorry, but what’s the difference, I honestly don’t know? Don’t they both involve hiring someone to come in and look the house over thoroughly?
